America's Got Talent Visits Dallas Convention Center

America's Got TalentEver since the emergence of the hugely successful American Idol back in 2002, audiences all across the country can not get enough of these talent shows showcasing the best performers from all across America. Unlike American Idol, which is solely a singing competition, or Dancing With the Stars, which is solely a dancing show, America's Got Talent is an all out talent show reminiscent of the ones we all use to see in high school.

The show, made popular in its first season back in 2006, showcases singers, dancers, comedians, acrobats, magicians and all other types of performers of any age that compete against each other for the top prize of $1,000,000 as well as a headlining show on the Las Vegas Strip. The audition process requires contestants to show off their respective talent to a panel of judges who then decide whether or not the contestant will move on to the next round. The judging panel in the last season was made up of Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff. The new season sees Morgan and Osbourne returning with new judge Howie Mandel replacing Hasselhoff.

Now auditions take place in major cities all over the country and one of the cities that will receive a visit from the crew of America's Got Talent is Dallas Texas. The Dallas Convention center will play host to the America's Got Talent auditions starting Saturday January 30, 2010 and ending on Sunday January 31, 2010. Auditions are open to anybody of any age with any talent. If anybody in the Dallas region is interested in auditioning for America's Got Talent then check out the America's Got Talent auditions web page or if you plan on auditioning in Dallas specifically, then check out the America's Got Talent Dallas auditions web page.
